How to Engage a Mentor and Become One

I love mentoring, coaching and training people! I love seeing others catapult into new levels, new realms, and go beyond where they’ve ever been before, simply because they were given a few tools and some inspiration to move forward and become successful and fulfilled in their destiny calling.

You may be asking, why is Patricia giving us a course on mentoring since we’re already being mentored by her? As you work on each of these mentorship courses, there may be a particular area where you feel drawn to, and you realize you need more expert training. Perhaps you have now found your destiny calling, so you want to learn from people who walk in that same anointing. This course helps to point you in the right direction.

Take note that the second part of this course is how YOU can become a mentor. Yes, that’s right – you! In an encounter I had some months ago, the Lord showed me that many who were mentored would receive the mentoring anointing and begin mentoring others. This will contribute to great spiritual growth like never seen before.

Some may feel that you have nothing to offer, but as you take inventory of areas in your life, spiritual walk, career and giftings where you have overcome difficulties and/or gained a certain level of mastery, you will be surprised at what you know and can share. For example, Paul gave instructions for older women to become mentors of younger women. Paul himself loved mentoring – the Epistles are testa-ment to that!
